Canvas Staff
Canvas Salon has service providers available to meet any budget and experience you prefer.
Our hair and skin team is made up of 5 different skill-based levels.
Apprentice – These stylists and estheticians are newly graduated from cosmetology school and working to refine their skill. They are currently undergoing training at Canvas Salon and need clients to help them develop and grow their practice. All services are checked by a mentor team member at Canvas so you feel confident you are in great hands. You can expect a lower price tag and you’ll want to budget some extra time, as you’ll be in the salon a bit longer than you would be with a more experienced team member.
Level 1 – These service providers create an amazing experience for you at a price tag that fits any budget. Level 1’s are in their first two years of their stylist career with Canvas and have completed our intensive salon training program. You can expect a fair price and great service.
Level 2 – These service providers have been with Canvas for 2.5 years or more and have worked hard to become excellent at what they do. This level provides you with mid-level luxury, the comfort of working with a skillful service provider who exemplifies the Canvas Salon customer service standard.
Level 3 – These service providers have been with Canvas for 5 years or more and are experts at their craft. Completing many hours of education and over 5 years of hands on time with clients, each of our level 3s and level 4s has identified an individual area of passion and expertise in the hair and skin industry. These service providers excel across the board, but if you have something specific you are interested in, then be sure to ask about it when you book so we can place you with a level 3 or level 4 who specializes in your exact need.
Level 4 – These service providers have been with Canvas for 8 years or more and are experts at their craft. Completing many hours of education and over 8 years of hands on time with clients, each of our level 4s has identified an individual area of passion and expertise in the hair and skin industry. These service providers excel across the board, but if you have something specific you are interested in, then be sure to ask about it when you book so we can place you with a level 4 who specializes in your exact need.
Level 5 – These service providers have been with Canvas for 10 years or more and are experts at their craft. Completing many hours of education and over 10 years of hands on time with clients, each of our level 5s has identified an individual area of passion and expertise in the hair and skin industry. These service providers excel across the board, but if you have something specific you are interested in, then be sure to ask about it when you book so we can place you with a level 4 who specializes in your exact need.

Paxton – New Talent Stylist

Jenny – Level 2 Stylist

I would love to work with you to make your hair goals come true!”
STACEY – Level 3 Stylist
“Hi I’m Stacey. I’m a level 3 stylist here at Canvas Salon. I chose Canvas because of the welcoming and homey feeling I got when I walked in the door. I love doing color, balayage, and highlighting. After 2 years of college and still not deciding what I wanted to do, I chose to leave and pursue cosmetology. It was the best decision I ever made. Getting to make people feel beautiful and good in their own skin is so rewarding!”
SAVANNAH – Level 4 Stylist
“I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2013 and began my career at a well-known Columbus salon, where I was trained in French cutting and coloring techniques. For three years, I had the privilege of teaching future cosmetologists at the Aveda Institute, which deepened my passion for both the craft and the connections it creates. While I love all aspects of hair, color customization is where my creativity really shines. Outside of the salon, I’m a proud wife to my high school sweetheart and a mom to our two wonderful children. My favorite part of this career is not only transforming hair but also building relationships — I love learning about my clients and remembering the little details that make each visit feel personal and special.”
