We want you to be completely confident in your decision to see one of our beauty experts. Below is a list of commonly asked questions that we hope will answer some of the questions you may have.

Q: Do I have to have a consultation?

A: We believe in customization. Every first-time client with us is automatically scheduled a complimentary consultation so that their beauty expert can feel confident in helping create your image. We are full of ideas and want to be sure you know all of your options.

Q: Do I need to come on a separate day for a consultation?

A: No. We understand you are busy. For your convenience you can choose to have your consultation the same day of your service, or on a separate day.

Q: How much does a consultation cost?

A: Our consultations are complimentary. If you schedule a consultation on a day separate from your service we charge a $30 booking fee that is deducted from the cost of your service when we see you again.

Q: What is a Skin Bar?

A: We are not a spa, we do everyday skin. Our Skin Bar allows us to work within your busy schedule to address your primary skin concerns for an immediate result. It can include one of our express peels or facial waxing. Every Skin Bar service includes a consultation.

Q: Do you provide services for men?

A: YES! We love men. We know that they care about looking great too. Men are always welcome at Canvas Salon & Skin Bar.

Q: How much is a full highlight?

A: At Canvas Salon & Skin Bar we believe in transparency with our pricing. You will always know how much a service cost before your service begins and it is based on how much time your stylist needs with you and how much product is needed for your hair. If you desire a full highlight and you have a lot of hair your price will reflect the additional time and product needed. If you desire a full highlight and you do not have a lot of hair, your price will be less. Fair for everyone and totally transparent!

Q: How much is a haircut?

A: Our haircuts are priced like every other service we offer, by how much time it takes. The range of price goes from $21-$70+. It all depends on how much time your style needs.

Q:Is Aveda organic?

A: Aveda is a lifestyle brand that is plant and flower based. While some products and many ingredients are 100% organic, the line is not 100% organic throughout. Aveda’s ingredient philosophy: “What you put on your body should be as healthy and natural as what you put into it.”

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?

A: Of course! Walk-ins are always welcome!

Q: Do you do children’s hair?

A: We love children and we happily provide services to children. However, we ask that you not bring a child to your service appointment without having another adult available to supervise while your service is being completed. Salons can be dangerous (lots of sharp and hot things) and we do not want anyone to get hurt.

Q: Do you do bridal parties?

A: Yes! We provide services for both the men and women in the bridal party. Call us today to setup an appointment.

Q: Do you have any guarantees?

A: We hope to always delight you. We guarantee all of our work and will gladly make any adjustments to your haircut or color complimentary if you contact us within seven days of your service. After seven days we still want you to call us if you are not satisfied. Our goal is your 100% satisfaction.

Q: Will Aveda haircolor damage my hair?

A: Our number one priority is the health of your hair. Our colorists are highly trained professionals and will never provide a service that is compromising to the integrity of your hair. We like the Hippocratic oath “first do no harm."
